Stepping into the world of Web3 and crypto can feel overwhelming. It’s a fast-moving space with its own language, pace, and people. But at Luna PR, that learning curve becomes an opportunity. As a global, award-winning PR agency, Luna PR isn’t just a workplace, it’s a launchpad for curious, creative minds looking to break into the world of blockchain, fintech, and tech communications.
I joined Luna PR as a marketing and communications intern, coming from a background that had nothing to do with crypto. I didn’t know what to expect. I only had a surface-level understanding of the industry and wasn’t sure how PR worked in such a niche space. But now, almost a month in, I can confidently say I’ve learned more than I thought in a short period of time.
Being surrounded by people who live and breathe emerging tech has been inspiring. Whether it’s diving into the latest developments in blockchain, helping shape messaging for game-changing startups, or sitting in on client calls, every day has been different, challenging, and genuinely exciting.
And I’m not the only one who feels this way. We currently have four other interns across different departments, each with different backgrounds, from finance to design. All of them echo the same sentiment. “Everyone here is so good at what they do. They motivate you to raise your game. It’s not just about doing your tasks, it’s about growing personally and professionally,” shared Maneli, one of our marketing interns.
For many of us, this was our first real introduction to the Web3 space. But being immersed in a team full of passionate professionals has helped connect the dots faster than any course or online article ever could. “I didn’t know much about this industry when I started, but I’ve learned so much just by being in the room with such driven, talented people,” said Teresa, another intern on our team.
One point that makes Luna PR stand out is its global outlook. While headquartered in Dubai, the agency operates across New York, London, and Singapore, so you’re constantly interacting with people and companies from all over the world. Some of us have even had the chance to attend international events and represent the agency on the ground. “Going to Cannes with the team was a huge moment for me. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, gave me a chance to network face-to-face, and helped me understand just how far Web3 has come,” said Kevin, Business Development Intern.
Another highlight has been the chance to collaborate across departments. Interns aren’t siloed here. Whether you're placed in social media, content, or PR, you’re encouraged to get involved in different areas, from event planning to client strategy. “I joined through the finance side but have been able to learn so much about communications, too. It’s opened my eyes to how everything connects,” added Jack.
Looking back, the past few weeks have been nothing short of incredible. I’ve gained a deeper understanding of Web3, improved my communication skills, and most importantly, I’ve been able to learn from some truly inspiring people. This internship didn’t just introduce me to a new industry, it gave me a clearer sense of direction, purpose, and confidence.
If you're someone looking to take your first steps into tech and want to learn from a team that’s passionate, driven, and truly global, Luna PR is the place to be.
